The Chinting alpine toad (Scutiger chintingensis) is an endangered amphibian species of the family Megophryidae. The species is endemic to Sichuan Province, China. It resides in and nearby flowing water on mountain peaks and breeds in alpine streams. The oviposition site selection of this toad species was reported by Yuezheng FAN et al. in this issue. This toad was drawn by Hanwen KANG and Timan YANG.
