Details：Advances in New and Renewable Energy is an academic journal supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and sponsored by the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conservation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2012, Advances in New and Renewable Energy was approved to commence as a bimonthly journal by China’s National Press and Publication Administration, and its first issue was published in August 2013. This journal primarily publishes original academic papers and high-quality literature reviews on science and technology in new and renewable energy. The disciplines include solar energy, biomass energy, wind energy, hydrogen energy, ocean energy, geothermal energy, and natural gas hydrates. It also covers the complementary integration of renewable energy, and related supporting technologies such as energy storage, smart grids, and distributed energy systems. Experts and scholars who are dedicated to, or interested in, this field, are welcome to contribute. Our journal will accept novel and innovative contributions.
In the year of its launch, Advances in New and Renewable Energy was included in the three major databases in China, namely, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, and VIP Journal Integration Platform. In 2014, it attained recognition from China’s State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television. In 2015, the journal also won the “Excellence Award for Journal Publishing Quality” granted by Science Press, as well as the honorary title of the fifth “Characteristic Journal of Guangdong Province.” It was included by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) in 2016, and in 2017 was awarded the honorary title of the sixth “Characteristic Science and Technology Journal of Guangdong Province.” In 2018, Advances in New and Renewable Energy was granted the “Outstanding Journals of Guangdong Province Award,” and it was included in the international database, EBSCO, in 2019.
