LAMOST-Kepler project and related scientific research
Abstract
<p indent="0mm">The LAMOST telescope began to conduct low-resolution spectroscopic observations for the Kepler and 15 observable K2 Campaigns in 2012 and 2015, which are called LK1 and LK2, respectively. In 2018, LAMOST began making observations for 20 LAMOST fields of view in the Kepler and K2 Campaigns, denoted as LK-MRS. This paper introduces the LAMOST-Kepler project and its latest observational progress and summarizes the new research progress in stellar physics, exoplanets and the Galaxy science based on the data of this project. As LAMOST continues to advance low- and medium-resolution spectroscopic observations in the Kepler and K2 Campaigns, more data collection and new scientific research results are anticipated.</p>
